Building the set

In todays lesson Myself, Chelsea and Ellen sat down and built the set for my stop frame animation. The actual set consists of twelve different buildings and twelve different extras. Some of the extras that will be in my scene will be static and others will be moving. the set took around a hour and half to fully complete. i feel that the actuall building and teamwork on this part of the project was great, the whole thing ran smoothly and theres was minimul hiccups. when building the set we had to think of where we could put the camera in so it would be possible to shoot.

review of todays project (chelsea's stopframe animation)

For Chelsea's project we had to make a stop frame animation that helped advertise skittles. The animation was made from a bunch of different coloured skittles and the wrapping for the skittles. There were 3 of us working as a team in order to help the workflow. My role in the team was to be the cameraman; this meant that once Chelsea and Ellen (Chelsea’s assistant) had moved the skittles into place I would take the picture I feel that the teamwork went well as we had good communication and helped each other out with ideas and suggestions. In order to make the project better I feel that we could of anchored down the camera position and the backdrop position also the lighting was not that great so this is something we need to take into consideration.
